I followed the installation steps but I failed to patch BI to V1.6. RTR uses a bigger map, more towns and larger starting armies for the rebels than RTW, so try using a lower unit size. Maybe the installer is corrupted, try re-downloading it or get a different version, forĮxample the -mod:switch version if you are using the standard version or vice versa. The first thing to try is re-installing RTR, possibly on a copy of RTW. When I first start a new campaign or battle with a new version of RTR, it will take while for the campaign or battle to load.
